I just love all of the glorious color mixes that appear on my palette. When I sit down in my studio, one of the first things I do is peel the dried remnants of paint from my palette. The underside of them are such beautiful little works of unintentional art. I carefully save them and when the time is right, like with this little gem of a painting, I start collaging.
 
Another fun thing I enjoy is painting patterns on paper to create my own collage papers. The vase was created with one of my favorite stamps on paper. 
 
The painting title is a Frida Kahlo quote.
