When I have paint left over on my palette, I start a new painting... typically it will create an underpainting. But sometimes, the paint does magical things when I scrape it onto a fresh piece of paper. And this one seems magical to me. I love all of the little moments of paint interaction and mark making.
 
This painting has been flush-mounted on a 2" deep cradle board with sides painted black. It's ready for hanging ... no frame required.
