In the back of my head, I always seem to tell myself that I need to refine my painted flowers... that they need more of something. I think it's the imposter syndrome that I impose on myself quite often.

But I love my flowers. They are fanciful and naive in style... rich in layers and color. And adding all the little bits and bobs to them is an enjoyable mental process that seems to add depth to my paintings.
